WHY CHOOSE I CAN READ WEB-CLASS

As one of the schools with the best English literacy system in the world that has been proven for 20 years, I CAN READ is now launching a new online learning program, I CAN READ Web-Class. With the latest conditions where health and safety are everyone's priorities, I CAN READ Web-Class aims to be able to facilitate children to learn effectively and efficiently and keep doing positive activities from home.

Here are a few advantages of I CAN READ Web-Class compared to the others:

CUSTOMIZED I CAN READ CURICULLUM
By continuing to use the I CAN READ’s learning method that has been adapted to suit the children's level and learning ability, students can absorb the learning material effectively and efficiently. It will also increase their abilities rapidly.

FUN AND INTERACTIVE LEARNING
Just like at the Centre, there are a lot of interesting and fun learning activities in the I CAN READ Web-Class. That is why the students will not feel bored at all.

COLLABORATIVE ONLINE ENVIRONMENT
All I CAN READ’s teachers will collaborate to make the environment as comfortable as possible. The Q&A session will not be difficult, and the teachers will catch all the questions and complaints from the students during class. In the I CAN READ Web-Class, all the students will be able to communicate with each other.

SMALL CLASS SIZE
The number of students in one class will be limited; one teacher will teach a maximum of 4 students at lower level and 5-6 students at higher level. This is done to ensure the effectiveness of learning and teaching activities.

INDIVIDUAL PROGRESS REPORT
The individual progress report will still be given periodically. It contains student’s skills development and the feedback from teacher. This can be used as a reference by parents to measure the effectiveness of learning activities.

EASY TO USE!
I CAN READ Web-Class has been designed as great as possible so that it can be easily used by children. Just prepare the equipment and follow some simple steps to start the learning activities in the I CAN READ Web-Class.

ONLINE LEARNING TIPS WITH I CAN READ WEB-CLASS

Do you want to start studying online, but you are still confused about what to prepare? Here are a few useful tips to make your online learning process more effective and fun.

MAKE A SCHEDULE
Even though you will not go to school, make a schedule as usual. For example, wake up early, eat breakfast on time, wear proper clothes, and take a break in the afternoon. Aside from that, make sure to set a fixed time when the learning process begins and ends.

MAKE SURE THE STUDY ROOM IS COMFORTABLE AND CONDUCIVE
The different atmosphere at home, compared to school, sometimes make children become less focused so the learning process is not optimal. Therefore, choose a place in the house that is most comfortable for children so they will not easily be bored. Also, use a comfortable desk and chair and make sure the study room is free of distractions or sounds that can interfere the learning process.

PREPARE THE TOOLS
The basic tools you must prepare for I CAN READ Web-Class are a PC/laptop (recommended) that is equipped with a camera or tablet, headset and stable internet connection. For the next step, please follow the instructions in the guide sheet I CAN READ Web-Class Easy Guidelines for Students (Parents).

BE ON TIME
Enter the class of I CAN READ Web-Class 10 minutes before it starts. Make sure all the devices are functioning properly.

OPTIMIZE THE LEARNING ACTIVITIES
The direct interaction and collaboration system in I CAN READ Web-Class and the limited number of children in one class allows children to be more active in learning, asking the teacher, and interacting with classmates.

ACCOMPANY CHILDREN DURING THE CLASS
It is recommended for parents to accompany their child during the I CAN READ Web-Class (especially for the lower level’s students). This opportunity can also be used to understand children's learning habits better. Then, re-practice what your child has learned together.
