How to download ClassIn?
Below are the instructions on how to download ClassIn, the platform we are using for our online classes.


Phones and Tablets
Both Android and Apple users may download the App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store directly.

Laptops

Using your browser, please visit the link below

Note: The application is also available for download on your mobile phone and tablet.


1)      Select Windows 7 and newer for Windows users.

2)     Select macOS for Mac users.

3)     ClassIn APP is only for mobile devices

After making your selection, please follow the on-screen instructions to download the application on your device. 


How to sign-in to ClassIn?

You should have received an email from us informing you of your child’s unique login ID and password.
If you did not receive it, please contact your child’s I Can Read Centre.


Double Click on the ClassIn application shortcut:

3.  Enter the details provided to you following the instructions below:


The “Log In” button should turn green.
You have now successfully logged in to ClassIn Platform and should see your child’s class schedule. For a detailed information on pre-class preparation, please click here.
Note: Password cannot be changed.



Parents are strongly encouraged to do a system testing prior to each lesson.



What if lessons are not appearing in the app for Android and IOS (Tablets only)?


What if the ClassIn App faces issues such as slow loading time or it is lagging?


What if my child is not able to hear, be heard or view the teacher during lessons?

Please go to settings on the top right corner. Click on Repair and allow the system to run its course. Click on Finish once it is done.


How do I log out of the ClassIn App? (For students who set up atuologin)

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)


1. What is ClassIn Online Class?

ClassIn Online Class is a transitional arrangement during a period which all enrichment and tuition centres are advised to offer home-based learning. We would like to ensure that our students are learning in a safe, disruption-free and orderly environment. ClassIn is one of the best platforms currently available for effective and interactive learning.



2. What are the differences between online and face-to-face lesson?

The main difference is that your child is not learning in a physical classroom at our centre but via an online classroom environment. All online lessons are live sessions and students are able to interact with the teacher and classmates using various tools in the online classroom.



3. How do I register if I have more than one child attending classes in ICR?

If you have more than one child attending lessons, you will be provided 2 unique login IDs.

What do I need to do before attending a lesson?

Parents should help your child to setup the device and make sure the webcam, speaker, and microphone are functioning properly. Students can enter the classroom 10 minutes before the lessons start. You are suggested to enter the classroom earlier. Kindly note that ClassIn will not be able to admit a student to the scheduled class 30 minutes after the commencement of class.


Please also make sure your child has the necessary stationery (colour pencils for PRE1/2/3; pencil and eraser for RDG, PREP, and ENG) and ICR student books with them.



Communication

5. Will there be any replacement if my child cannot join the class as per the schedule?

Yes, replacement is possible subject to our existing terms and conditions. Kindly advise the respective centres two days in advance if your child could not make it for the class on the suggested day. For primary level English classes, students who are absent will continue to be able to view the replacement recorded lesson for that week on the student portal.


6. Can I join the class together to assist my child?

Yes, you may join the class to assist or to help your child on the application.



7. And how do I re-join the class if I get disconnected in between the lesson?

You can try to login and enter the class your child is assigned to.  If you still experience difficulties joining the class, please inform your centre and we will try to assist you to re-enter the class.

  • We strongly encourage that all other applications to be closed during lesson.
  • Opening any other applications during lessons will cause you to exit the classroom. This is to ensure students are focused during lessons and not doing any other activities during lessons.
  • If you exited the classroom 10mins before end time, you will not be allowed to re-enter the classroom.


8.Is there a difference between the course fees for online classes and the current fees?

The fees for both online and physical classes are similar.  



9. What is the class size and duration for online class?


  • Class size for Pre-reading level 2&3, Reading, Primary 1-2 is up to 8 students with 90 minutes duration. 
  • Class size for Primary 3-6 English program is up to 10 students with 120 minutes duration. 
  • We have reduced the class size of Pre-reading level 1 to a maximum of 4 in order to enable better interaction and learning outcome for our younger students. The online class duration will be adjusted to 40 minutes from the usual 60 minutes in a physical class. We aim to keep our young learners fully engaged in an appropriate length of time in an online environment.
